Meet Maggie Muff. She's smart, streetwise and looking for love in all the wrong places.

Funnier, sexier and certainly much ruder than Shirley Valentine, this is the number one best selling spoof play of a certain 'Shades of Grey' novel. 51 Shades of Maggie Muff has sold out its run at every venue where the show has played.

"Like Mrs Brown, Maggie Muff could easily be a working class icon." THE IRISH INDEPENDENT

Following their sold out Paris season, the internationally acclaimed St Petersburg Ballet Theatre returns to Johannesburg Perth in July-August, to present their full-length classic production of the world’s most famous ballet – Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake.

It has been quite some years since South African and Australian balletomanes last thrilled to performances of the 55 member company of the St Petersburg Ballet Theatre who last toured in the mid 2000’s collecting rave reviews and hanging out the “Sold Out” sign at almost every performance.

Now the St Petersburg Ballet Theatre is slotted for a limited seasons at The Teatro Montecasino in Johannesburg and His Majesty’s Theatre Perth in July and August 2013.

First performed in St Petersburg in 1895, Swan Lake with its unrivalled “white acts”, its spectacular and dramatic Ballroom scene, sublime music and deeply moving story, is the ballet that towers above all others.

The St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre is renowned globally not just for beautiful dancers but also for stunning and grand full-length productions.

International Producer, Andrew Guild said. “Not only do The St Petersburg Ballet Theatre bring their troupe of Vaganova trained dancers , they also bring their magnificent scenery; scenery that has audiences applauding even as the curtain rises, along with sumptuous costumes, dozens of dazzling white tutus and hundreds of pink pointe shoes.

“The St Petersburg Ballet is truly traditional Russian classical ballet at its very best.”

    International media comments include:

“A Company with style, restraint and elegance. A Company to be treasured.” Sunday Telegraph (London UK)

“The poise and polish of the Company is superb” Citizen (South Africa)

“A triumph” The Times of London

“A Night to remember” The Scotsman (UK)

“The St Petersburg Ballet has left a considerable mark on the history of world ballet” Danse Magazine (Paris France)

“A vision to behold, exquisite sets and costumes” Sunday Times (South Africa)

“Getting full houses at the Theatre des Champs Elysees in Paris” Journal du Dimanche (Paris France)

    “Spectacular.” Daily Post (Dublin, Ireland)

“One of those rare and beautiful moments…. Not to be missed” The Dominion Post (New Zealand)

A final word from Andrew Guild:

“This is the real thing, grand-scale Russian Ballet. A complete classical full-length work.

“This is not a concert program. This is not a small group of dancers performing unrelated pas-de-deux and party pieces.

This is “Swan Lake”, the world’s most-famous ballet, classical ballet performed the way it was intended by one of Russia’s leading classical companies. If you see only one ballet in your life, let it be this.”

    Yes, Prime Minister

Following sold out seasons around Australia. Yes, Prime Minister opens in New Zealand in July 2013

In 1982, Antony Jay and Jonathan Lynn penned the first episodes of Yes Minister for the BBC. It was an instant hit. Their characters and situations revealed, to a largely unsuspecting public, the deliciously awkward marriage between civil servants and politicians. Twenty-five years later these brilliant wordsmiths have done it again and this time it’s a hit play !

It’s 2011. A lot has happened since the Rt Hon. Jim Hacker MP last walked the corridors of Whitehall. There’s the GFC, rising oil prices, minority governments, illegal immigrants and global warming. If that’s not enough to contend with, the 24 hour news cycle, constant bleating of mobile phones, endless emails and a new generation of spin doctors. Ably assisted by Cabinet Secretary, Sir Humphrey Appleby, and Principal Private Secretary, Bernard Woolley, these three most loved characters from the hit BBC series gather once more to sort out another very thorny problem.

Since its opening in September 2010 at London’s Gielgud Theatre Yes, Prime Minister has been the toast of British theatregoers. The play will bring the riotous inner workings of Westminster to the Australian Stage for the first time.

Again, bringing the riotous inner workings of Westminster to the Australian stage – and now to New Zealand as well.
